My name is Bec and I live in the hills between Lismore and Nimbin in Northern NSW. I have a background in arts facilitation, small business management, festivals and events.
I spent 10+ years travelling all over Australia facilitating lantern making workshops with children and adults and creating beautiful lantern parades and fire events. This career had a strong focus on ritual performance and taught me a lot about working with people from all walks of life and a sense of ceremonial timing.

I said goodbye to festival life around 6 years ago, completed a few courses and eventually started a small sewing business called Thready Set Go upcycling vintage and remnant fabrics into useful everyday products.
I also run workshops teaching people how to get creative and upcycle fabrics into beautiful items.

I also worked in the funeral industry as a Funeral Director's Assistant for over two years, so I have a good knowledge of funerals and memorial services. I saw a need for families to access support and advocacy leading up to the death of a loved one, so I have recently embarked on a journey to become a Death Doula or End of Life Consultant.
